VIDEO: 2009 WMU Football Media Day Montage

KALAMAZOO -- Friday was WMU Football's annual media day at the Seelye Center in Kalamazoo. Senior Linebacker Austin Pritchard, Senior Tight End Matt Stevens, Senior Defensive End Justin Braska, Senior Quarterback Tim Hiller and Head Coach Bill Cubit spoke to the media before the rest of the team joined them on the Seelye Center's indoor field.

Hiller spoke about being ready for his final season to get underway: "We've talked about attitude, discipline, pursuing excellence, and we're trying to be focused each and every practice. We're ready to get going."

WMU is coming off a 9-4 season which saw them lose 25 seniors to graduation. This season the Broncos are far from rebuilding having gained several talented Freshman like Ansel Ponder, Tronic Williams and Trey Smith to go along with transfers like former Miami defensive back Doug Wiggins.

The Broncos open 2009 on the road at Michigan September 5th. The home opener is set for Saturday September 19th which launches the "Bronco Sports First LIVE" Video show from just outside Waldo Stadium.

Each week Bronco Sports First LIVE will be hosted by Dan Cash, Jay Morris and Emily Wolfram with weekly players and coaches in recorded segments to go along with live segments with Media Relations Director Mat Kanan and voice of the Broncos Robin Hook each week on the show.

TUNE IN TO BRONCO SPORTS FIRST LIVE each home Saturday on BRONCO SPORTS FIRST on WKZO.COM.
